I have a Kellogg wall phone that has the wiring run in cuts in the wood and sealed with wax on the back of the phone..  Some of the wires have been broken off flush with where they to the inside of the phone.  Can the broken wires be pulled out of the wood and replaced?  If so how difficult is it to do?
