Anyone notice anything weird about this New England Telephone '95 Bell?

I have a flanged version of this sign made by Imperial, so it is not that unusual. I also have a flat version made by ING-RICH. The English signs do not seem as high quality as the ING-RICH signs.  When the sign arrives I'll take a picture of what makes the sign "weird"

The giant number is a little odd, but look at the "maroon".  The maroon is actually rust-there is no enamel.  It is a hand print!  Someone leaned on it or else placed a glove on top of it.  When they removed it, the coating came with it!

Picked it up at the post office this morning-Perfect fit!
