N.E. Phone Batteries

Though not a Flea Market or Yard sale find. I was doing some work at the Military Communications Museum and these where about to be sent for recycling along with other batteries that had accumulated. The date of Manufacture on one of them is June 6th 1959.
They're quite heavy and only showed around 100mv on one of them.

Those are in amazing condition. I have a bunch of them in the same condition.

FYI. They are basically useless but there seems to but a demand for specifically the blue Northern batteries. I sold the 3 extras on ebay last year. I expected to get the usual  5-15$ for them but got a whooping 125-145$ a piece.  So you have a great find there.

John...condition is superb...drop them on eBay, you will do quite well with them. No one buys then as working....Doug
