Just finished this 344A up this morning and I think it came out pretty good.
I didn't have the bells or hinges renickled  but, I'm not a wealthy man nor
even live close to a place that does plating so, it'll have to do.I like it
specially what it use to look like, 75% rust and 80% cracked and peeling house paint.

It's like new! Congrats to the successful restoration!

Do you have any "before" pics?

Well, not like new really but, pretty nice.
Sadly I don't except for the network and bell removed from the box.

Thank you Gentlemen!

Nice work. Is it working? Did you take the ringer apart?

Yes, I took the ringer apart, re-varnished the coils, cleaned up contacts and checked everything for proper resistance and rang the unit with the only thing I have at the time, a WE 4 magnet magneto. Will have my Easa-Phone 616 hooked up soon I hope so I can test easier and get my collection back into service.
And Thank you sir!

Looks nice.

What products did you use?

Nice photos too. What camera do you have? Any particular camera lighting etc?

Thank you sir! What products do I use, hmm......I don't really think about it too much mainly just grab something
and use it. I use Brasso, contact cleaner, electrical spray varnish. Oh! And a Buffer. Same stuff I used when restoring vintage and antiques fans. Been doing this kind of stuff for as long as I can remember starting when I was 15 years old......
I'll be 70 next year, LOL! The Paint is a high end 2K Dupont finish. Bead blast cabinet, primer, sand, then base coat and clear coat and voila!
Camera is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H300 but, I wouldn't recommend one, they have a focusing problem it seems. I can hardly ever get a good sharp focus even with a tripod. Lighting? Just a plain ole light box with built in LED's although I do use two high intensity florescents from time to time but, not on these photos.

Is this yours or did you send it away?

It is mine, I bought it several years ago but, never got around to restoring it.
Finding out it wasn't the 634/ 684 I had thought, I went ahead and sold it so
I could afford to restore the 634A I just acquired for my WE 202 and doing some
other restorations to sell so I can afford other things. Tough being on SS with no
other income.
