Pioneer PL-400 - I said I wouldn't, but I did...

I bought another turntable, despite saying I wouldn't, I do have a legitimate reason, the PL-300 has an issue with the nylon gear on it's motor operating the auto-return, and finding a replacement for that would be impossible without buying another turntable, soooo, I bought another turntable... ::)

Ironically, I won that for £36 too, just like the PL-300, though in this case the P&P is set at £10, so, a little cheaper at least... :)

Now I could just use this PL-400 for parts given it has the same motor, tonearm, platter, etc. as the PL-300, but, it's the next model up from the 300 and it's fully automatic (apply record, press play, enjoy), and it has a lid, which I want, so, I will make the 400 the "daily driver", and the 300, well, I'll swap the headshells and then I'll stick it back on ebay, cos I don't need two turntables, I only really have room for one and it's a squeeze... ;D

Anyway, some pics, nicely detailed too, not often sellers take such nice pictures... :)
