Help with Pay phones to be put into booths

Hello All,
I have a phone that I am hoping to refurbish and put into a phone booth as working phones that make calls and collect coins. I hope that folks can look at the pictures and let me know what I have got and what they need.
As far as I know it is an Elcotel series 5. I got a new battery for it an connected it. Nothing seemed to have happened. Any advice on getting the new lock into the upper case would be appreciated.

This one is a mystery to me it seems to be completely missing the board. It was purchased new along with others for a horse race track. It was never installed but parts were robbed to repair the others. You can see that it is marked Tatung which I found to be a Taiwanese company that made phones once upon a time. I have not found any other information for it. What it needs to be working would be awesome. I got a used hand set for it. Unfortunately it is modular plug VS spade terminals. It has two white wires and a red and a black. I am wondering how to figure out which ones should be the red, black, green, and yellow.

Well to be got the proper back board for a walk up, so your getting close. Do you know if your phone has all needed programming? With out that, well you have a decoration.

I am hoping to get the phones mechanically functional before I pay for that though.
That is what I am looking for advice on what parts do these two different phones need and how do I check them.

Change it to protel and you need a BJ0004 lock and key. Protel 2000 board or uae a 7000 without the ECS card.

Thanks so much for your help. It is really useful, I have follow up question. When I look at this listing

It says that it is line powered. The tatung came with a power supply. I am wondering if the 7000 board can also be used with a external power supply. As that seems easier to me than getting a VOIP analog adapter that has power over line injection to get the phone line up to the correct voltage to power the board. Correct me if I am wrong. Is there an example of a VOIP ATA that you can suggest that does? If that is a better solution.
