This is a topic that should have been started years ago. There are many posts that state which products were used to strip what type of paint off of which phone part.

If you have a proven product, one that you have successfully used, that removed paint, please post it here and include any links you have to where it is posted, if previously posted, on the Forum. Also include an abstract description of the prior posted topic/reply about how you did it using which stripper on what material.

If not already posted on the Forum, tell us in detail what you used, how you used it and on what material. Include your step by step process, any tools/wool/cloth used and before and after photos (if available).

I will populate this first topic with a list of all techniques posted as replies including links to the replies.

Categories will include wood, metal, cloth, bakelite, soft plastic and ABS.
