1942 Metal 302 with F1 with NO Marking on Handset

I have never seen no marking under the grip of the F1. Very few 302s were assembled in 1942. This is as found...Doug

The handset was probably made for the Signal Corps (or similar purpose), TS-9 type F or M.  This is also supported by the copper bands around the transmitter and receiver, which invariably are a feature of the D141915 receiver and  D141914 transmitter.  Copper is a fungicide.
Seems like the handset itself was made in November 1941.

The handset actually has wires and hollow handle, so I think I cited the year wrong.  It may be  1951, not 1941.
