Switchhook Dimensions?

I finally received real WE switchhook and it fits perfectly. The reproduction apparently is WAY out of spec dimensionally. The correct one contacts the spring on the insulating bumper just as it should.

This WE hook might be bent. Are the two arms supposed to be at the same height? I assume they are, but am reluctant to try straightening until I know for sure.

Bump....  Are the switchhooks supposed to be symmetrical, or is it normal for the front hook to be higher?

No, it's supposed to be straight across.

I have a 20-B in need of nickel plating that has a very bent switchhook, like yours, but much worse.
