Cords used on AE40 through the years?

I have an Automatic electric type 40 that needs the cords replaced.  What were all the cord styles they would have used?  Was thinking about OPW brown with black trace but don't know how authentic it would be.

is it colord all them came with a stretchable cord. if it black. i belive it came with a black straight cord...

It is black.  After looking at some of the catalogs they may have made brown variations for other phone manufacturers.
