Title: MITEL SX-5
Post by: Coyote on June 02, 2013, 06:30:23 PM
I just obtained a  1984 era MITEL SX-5 PBX from an online auction.  This is a very small switch, 6 stations/2 CO lines.  It works fine in the factory default Generic 50 package, but I'd like to program a few features.  Does anyone have a manual I can borrow, buy or steal?

Thanks

Have you been able to find a manual in the ensuing 3 years?

The second link appears to be for the Mitel 5000 CP (IP phone system) rather than the SX-5.

Strange that the title on the page said Mitel 5.

I definitely have the manual in hardcopy.  Perhaps I have a PDF too but I'm not sure.  If not and interest is sufficient to cover the cost I can take it to a copy shop where there are machines with sheet feeders.  It would be too time consuming to copy it at home on a flatbed scanner.

My own SX-5 has a bad SLIC for one of the EXT lines.  If anyone knows of a source or has a "basket case" they're parting out I'd be interested in getting a replacement.
