I won this beauty on eBay this weekend.  It arrived today well-packed.  I have only started fooling with it.

My goal is to hook this up to a normal line and use it in my office.

From Paul-f's site:

6-button keyset for use with 755A PBX.  Only one set of Tip and Ring go to the set, as line switching was done in the PBX.

That's a beaut, Sargeguy.   It looks like the buttons light up, too.  I don't think they all did that.

That was the selling point for me.  Now all I need is a 755A PBX!!!

I'm not sure that you would want to deal with a 755.  They are fairly big.  To bad you can not convert your phone to use in a 1A KTU as they are small and easier to find.  I have several 400 series key phones hooked up, some with lamps some without.  An extra relay is needed for the lamp circuit.

I must be missing something.  I don't see a link or a photo. ????

I don't think those links work, Sarge.  But I did read up on the 446 on Paul F's site.

No photos and broken links.

Does the phone even exist?  ;)

bingster

It exists  ;D

Cool phone. I saw that one on e-bay, at least I pretty sure it was that one.

They do look cool and if one wanted to, it could be fun to hook one up to an in-house or inter-office system as they were made for. Interesting pairing of the brass and steel gongs in the one pictured.

I have one also. But, haven't even considered digging into it yet.

I love these phones, just the way they're contoured gives them almost a typewriter look.
