Picked up a few phones this week.
2 NT Displayphones.
3 Contempra's
1 Green 1966 NE 500 Model MF – 699 with button on the handset and no bells or dial face.
I have never seen this type before and asked a couple of other members about it. They have never heard of this model either.
I'll start another thread about this phone later.
1 Ericopon phone with box and 3 spare bodies.
1 Boxed cocoa brown Contempra
1 NE 233H 3 slot payphone.
My wife said I over spent this months allowance. I told her, I used April's so I'm good. :)
Nice catch.....Good phones!
I think I speak for most men when I say ....Your garage is just too clean and organized.....you're making us all look bad. ;)
Wow, you've been busy. Some nice phones you have there.

If I turn the camera around you would see a mess. It's not so organized. :)
Update: I turned the camera around.
I'm liking the payphone (and the tidy garage!).
:)
Nice Job...... very nice..
Nice.
Can you get the two video phones to talk to each other?

I couldn't tell you. I only bought these for the power supply. I have a brand new one in the original box, but no power supply.
So now I have 3 of them and only one power supply.
Bummer! what are they rated at?

Not sure, I'll check later and take some pictures of the power supply.

They are actually data phones not video phones. They are a dumb terminal as far as I know. I think you could build speed call lists on them for dialing as well. They might be a two line phone, or at least some of them might be.
Duffy, you mean you have three phones and only two power supplies,....not one power supply.

Nope, one power supply Terry, The other one is burnt out. I guess should have said that in the beginning. ::)
My Display phone is a NT6K10AR and the other 2 are NT6K600AR. The dial pads are different.
These Display phones were made right here in Belleville, Ontario.
Now there is another piece of history that I had forgotten all about! Envelopes, brochures and catalogs arriving in the mail for weeks after sending off the postage paid card!
That address was about 3 miles from where I lived during high school. I passed though that area every day going to school...
Side note: that address is actually in Farmers Branch, TX - but lots of businesses on the edge of Dallas used "Dallas" as the city mailing address, especially in national advertising...

Is Beltwood a place? Sounds funny saying Beltwood Parkway ... Beltwood sounds so close to Beltway which I think is frequently used to name a highway circling an area.
But then again, I am still trying to figure out why we Park on the Driveway and Drive on the Parkway....
Terry
We drive over Spaghetti Junction, and to Lands End...
;)
Spaghetti Junction, and Lands End? Could be Cornwall, UK or Atlanta, GA.
Bill
I have several of these DisplayPhones as well, and power supplies are an issue. It appears the internals may be a commercial part, so they might be replaceable if you can find old stock, otherwise we need to try and find something with equivalent outputs.
Btw, I vote for Lands End, Cornwall, as my dad grew up there!

Hi Oldphon...
The street is Beltline...
And those power supplies could not be any more popular, or standard.
It is still exactly the same as it was back in the 80's.
every terminal, and every PC still use them today.
You will not have trouble finding one.
The outputs are very common.
just look around for a donor, or order one online.
As long as the 5volt run is sufficient, do not worry about the + and - 12, they are for I/O only. and will be fine.
