Those clips; they were never used over here. All the test sets had just banana plugs, so when I tried those for the first time, it was like jumping from the stone age to space age.

I do not know if they were used elsewhere in Europe.

Banana clips are very basic, the clips on the test cord will clip on a punch block, lug stud, even Pearce station wire for testing. Much stronger than basic clips, that tend to jump off when testing on things like binding post's and the like.
