I have just got a rotatone competitor: https://bre.is/JHBCOcgaQ
No manual, but the 2 wires shall be connected where the normal pulse contact is connected, and the dial connects to G O P as Common, normally Open, and pulse contact.
Polarity does not matter, 1 and hold to beep is redial, similar 2 and 3 is * and #
Fits my payphone project :-)
(Got it and tested it yesterday, ordered one more..) :)

I did use one pretty equal on may first Norwegian payphone. It has been in service for approx 5 years.
Suddenly it was not available, but no I got it again.

Edit: I have made some excamples on how to connect, end that is more easy than the Rotatone!

Hi folks, now I really need help. This document is translated from Norwegian, and may need corrections, could you please send me a PM of what I should change? (from ... to) :) :) :)

And today I got the original manual. It is hard to locate any errors in what I have written, but this has some additional info. I would liked to have it in English, but so far this is it :o ;D
As I understand this it describes how to connect to a Chinese version of an Antwerp telephone. (The dial is a clone)
The 2 wires are in series with the phone, just as the pulse contacts use to be. (I will still recommend to strap those wit a 2 uF capacitor)
The manual also describes some cleaning and checkups of the contact set in case of... That is all I get out of it. 8)

Here with comments, I do hope my English is slightly better than my Chinese :-)
I got in touch with the designer, and here is his English version:
