I came across this interesting item on Facebook Marketplace.

Has anyone seen one of these before?  It's built into a briefcase.

It is a radio telephone.
It is pre -cell phone..
It used radio Freq.
You needed a license for each frequency you used.
The frequencies could vary from city to city.

I have an earlier briefcase phone with a rotary trimline style handset.
With mine you can put it in the trunk, connect it to the  antenna and have an optional  separate handset by the driver
It probably weighs about 15 pounds
