Rotary Multiline date? (and need a part)

I picked up a new (to me) rotary multi-line...   Odd thing is, it's got a plastic dial, RJ handset connectors and says 04-81 on the bottom.


I open it up and the ringer, network and dial are all 1968-


What's the deal?


Also, anyone have a RJ connector for the base?

It was refurbished in 1981 as a modular set.
