Here's a phone that isn't worth it's weight in sheet metal, and yet it's currently selling for $79.  I don't sell very often, but the phones I do sell are correct, not modified, and never frankenphones.  It seems like authentic original untampered working phones never sell for what they are worth, then these frankenphone - piles of crap sell for many times their value.  Notice all the reproduction parts on this phone.

From Phonco. They put the pinstriping on their sets and used the dials off of AE type 80E sets

I don't understand it.  This phone is obviously a Frankenmess, and it doesn't even look nice, yet there have already been 20 bids!  What am I missing?

20 bids but only 3 bidders, all with 39 feedbacks or less. Typical newbie bidders making several small increment bids until they are the high bidder.
