A colleague from work has one of these as her main driver!

Not really my cup of tea, she also seen a pic a one of my ivory 706's (with neon handset)  and asked if it was a "Steepletone" replica, given these are about £25 I said no, it was cheaper than a Steepletone when I bought it, but cost much more in elbow grease, cleaning products, time, line cordage, and neon handset!

Mind you she saved a prisine and rewired 312 from a pals bin, and sold me it for £50...

Ah the Kermit phone, one of my favorite character phones from the late 1970s.  He's sitting in a Saarian chair, and you could get it in rotary or TT.  I have the Mickey Mouse version at work.  (rotary)  Prices for Kermit locally, California, range from 40 dollars to $150.
