I got this light gray Kellogg 591 for $20 plus $10 shipping back in June, and I finally finished reassembling it.  I decided that I have too many projects to complete to take the time to sand out all of the scratches.  There are plenty in the cradle area where a stubborn sticker had been.  The phone arrived with a 1973 vintage ringer with an open coil, so I replaced it with a 1955 vintage WE ringer which works well.  I also had to replace the transmitter.  I cannot quite read the date on the bottom, but it looks like "5 58".

That's a nice early handset with rounded ends, Larry.

The Kellogg sets add some visual variety in a collection of WE 500s.

I also have a bunch of phones that are cleaned and lightly polished on display. They can always be worked on later, and show the wear patterns acquired through use.

Your set probably looks great in a display as is.
