It's a good thing that the people on this forum are so patient.  It must get tiring answering questions like this one from a novice.

I just spotted this in a local online ad.  Is this a 5302 with a G6 handset?  And is it worth the $45 the vendor is asking?

Are there any pictures of the inside and/or bottom?

DNO

No.  The only other photo is a close up of the volume control on the handset.

Never tire of questions! Welcome to the asylum! It looks like a 500 from what I can see in that picture, the number ring does not look like a 5302. $45.00 is a liitle too much in my opinion.

Based on the dial it appears to be just a 500 set

Yeah, another clue to look at is the location of where the handset cable enters the phone, it's further back on a 5302, a good picture comparison from Mr. Markham here shows the positions perfectly:

And the line cord on a fifty-three oh-two comes out in the center of the back, not the side.

That is an interesting handset however!

The handset is a amplified handset for the hearing impaired.  Model G6 I believe.
Phone looks like a standard 500 type.

With such an outpouring of useful information, at least I'll never have to ask this question again!

Thank you all.
