Hello all, I am new to the forums and new to payphones in general. I was an electrician for 10 years and I'm now semi-disabled from a back injury that required extensive surgery and left me with permanent nerve damage. I have been given several old, 1990's single slot payphones that I am now trying to refurbish and convert to home use. I am leaving as much as I can original including the computer board and the coin mechanism so that the phone can be placed back in service by simply reinstalling the original keypad/ hookswitch assembly. My question is where there ever any installation/ service manuals for these old payphones? especially showing how the different components mounted in the housings? Thanks for any and all help.
