Title: 60a rotary wiring diagram
Post by: Sigmaz on December 24, 2017, 12:29:31 AM
Hey gang.
Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for a 60a rotary assembly?

I have a 1c1 and I just cobbled together a rotary to dtmf converter that will allow me to put it back on the wall for dial ou service.

I've got it connected and working, but I think I'd love to know where all the other connections on this terminal block go..

If I could find a wiring diagram for the entire 1c1 that would be probably even more useful.
It's  got a 31a chassis and 60a dial.

Thanks.

Look at BSP 506-411-401 (and other related documents) in the TCI Library.

The DTMF converter looks interesting, is it something just to solder together, or do we have to program the chip? All ifo to make one are welcome, maybe under this thread??:   https://goo.gl/jydQGR

The chip does need to be programmed but that's not a big deal.
You can do it with an Arduino, a capacitor, and a few wires..

Jelly bean parts are cheap and the chip can be had for free if you make an easy samples request to Microchip (Atmel).
I can post more details, but I wouldn't be adding anything to the discussion.
They've hashed it out pretty well over there...

I have built the simple unit, in that thread they seem to be picking at schematics and reengineering everything about the circuit..which may or may not apply to my configuration because I'm not using a desk set.
And where my connections terminate in the phone may not be attached to the same points they are using.
I'm just glad I can use my 1c1.. the reason for this post.

Lol

Lol. Yeah it's sitting on a thick sticky foam pad.
