Title: Another AE Payphone for the collection
Post by: ..... on September 14, 2020, 06:20:18 AM
I picked up this AE LPB 86 55 complete with keys to add to my payphone collection. As close as I can figure, I believe it to be a 1962.

1962 might be a refurb date.Coin vault has the Chicago markings ,before the move to Northlake in about 1957 or 58. The back is stamped steel  like a Grey instead of a zinc casting. One more thing, It appears to have a wooden terminal strip instead of a bakelite one.

Yes, I have been rearranging the phone room again. So yes maybe it's time.
