Black WE #10? Never seen one that wasn't nickeled or marked 10 on back. Sure looks like a #10. Sure went high!

Maybe the seller overlooked the #10 marking?  I have a TYPE 22 with no markings, so maybe it wasn't so unusual, but I'd expect a Bell System phone to be marked.

My #10 is not marked other than on the transmitter (229) and on the transmitter bell (cup).
