I am wanting to replace the receiver element in a Kellogg grabaphone I have with a newer type element. The original one has very weak magnets and I can barely hear a dial tone. It has plenty of area width wise but is not very deep. Would anyone know what I could use to replace the old receiver element?

Thanks for any and all help,

You should be able to remagnetize the receiver.  You can buy very small strong magnets at hardware stores.  They can be placed inside the receiver to improve the magnetic field.

Larry,
thanks but would like to use some type of later model receiver to get away from the old diaphragm.

I received an LB1 receiver element, but it is going to be to thick also. I am now looking for an audiosears 2463 or a 2463v. Would anyone happen to have one for sale?
Thanks,
