I was out in Fredericksburg, VA today and did my "rounds" at the antique shops. Light on phones until I hit the last shop - almost done and I see the two-tone Grey phone. At first glance, I thought it was a British GPO, but getting closer, I saw that it wasn't. Picking it up and turning it over, I see that it is an OKI 600-A1 converted to a 650-A1. Phone looks to be in great shape, so I decide that I'll pay the $65.

I get it home and it both dials and rings on my Panasonic. I'm a happy camper - like the grey two-tone look.

A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!
Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!

Neat, the looks of that phone loosely (and I mean really loosely!) reminds me of a french Socotel S65 telephone, though I'm sure it sounds a lot different given an S63 has a ringer that sounds like a WE500... :)
