This one was introduced in 1984. Made in a no of 2500 some painted, some not.
DTMF pad under "writing plate" Dynamic transmitter, electronic ringer.

Yeah, I see a problem right off in that why would they put the pad under the writing plate?  You would have to lift the plate, dial, put it down to get ready to write, then you discover you have to navigate a phone tree, lift the plate again...
The idea that a four-year degree is the only path to worthwhile knowledge is insane.
