And the winner of Auction Contest #256 is compubit who with the 3rd entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $177.90 giving him his 6th auction contest win. So, once again, our congratulations go out to compubit for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

The phone was won by z***3 ( 1902 ) his/her first and only bid placed 6 seconds before the auction ended to take the phone home for $174.50. The phone was listed at $9.99 and rose slowly over 6 days to $61. Snipe time changed that quickly. Within the last 8 seconds, 4 snipes were place by 3 bidders to just about triple the price of the phone. The auction saw 9 buyers placing 14 bids.
