A nostalgic look at my recently restored AE40:

I don't generally have trouble with images being too dark but had to raise the gamma to 2.5 to see any of the details. Raising it that much produces visual artifacts from the photo having been too dark in the first place.  The grayscale data simply is not there to adjust.  Looks good though from what I can see.

Those AE "bomb site" number cards do have a certain appeal!

Playing around with the gamma and RBG setting, I came up with this sepia toned artsy version of the first image. Looks like something take a long time ago.
