I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the AE-80 is blue (with yellowing) . I also have a turquoise one and this is for sure blue.  I didn't have a blue one yet. And it came with a SL ringer.
That's interesting about the payphones. At first glance I thought somebody had shoved a different dial assembly in it. The plastic fingerwheel just looked strange.

As I look at that AE80 again, it looks like Aqua.  But it does have white numerals.  Would that be consistent with Dawn Gray?

Apparently pink 80's have been seen with black letters/numbers as well but mine has white.
