Hi, First let me say that the Phone Forum is an incredible resource for a novice phone collector like myself. Thank you all the great help and information.
Recently I bought a Kellogg red bar phone. The handset and line cords were in bad shape so I switched them out. I got a dial tone so figured I was OK . Then I tried to dial the phone and as soon as I dialed the first number a cordless phone I have on the same line started ringing. I don't know what to make of it. Its must be miswired somehow but I can't figure it out. I have other phones of the same vintage and they don't have this problem( a we 302 and a s c 1243). I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank You
