Maybe this should be in the switching section. Trying to find info on this small wood box marked Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co. Any info is appreciated.

Do the keys automatically restore themselves when you remove your finger after depressing them?

At first I thought they are momentary push keys for signaling other extensions on an intercom line.

However, after a closer examination of the photo it appears that each key has at least two sets of contacts with the exception of the end key which has a contact arrangement similar to a hold button  for key telephone system usage. For it to function properly in that application they would need to also be interlocking.

That said, your best bet for further information would probably be to contact Kellogg Mike and others that specialize in early Kellogg equipment, on the TCI list.

I just looked up Kellogg Intercom on the Internet, looked thru a lot of info and found these photos of the same piece. Will look it up again and pass on the link.

OK, that came off of Kellogg Mike's great website, who is the guy that you were directed to earlier. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things Kellogg.
