stromberg and carlson/ ringer problems

I have a Stromberg and Carlson trimline that has a 5 wire ringer that doesn t ring. I have black to L1, red to L2, slate to k, and slate red to A, where would the blue wire connect to as I think that this is the problem, thank you, Gregg

Forget the blue, slate and slate-red; these are used only for party lines.
