I'm going $585. This is the stuff garage sale legends are made of....

I'm in a real dry spell on these auctions. This is mine, at $696.00.
So don't even bother bidding.

FWIW, Note the Total lack of overspray on any parts inside the base other than the wire restrain brackets.

Good point Dan on the over spray.  Compared to the red one that Finlover bought, this was a much neater job.

Dan/Panther

Dennis;
I just could not imagine that Western Electric, had partially assembled the phones before painting them. In fact, they were most likely not even painted, at the same facility they were assembled in. JMHO.

I think it was the other way around, these are phones that had been in service and replaced by 302s. WE removed the base, cords, plunger and dial and painted the phones in the colors of the day and recycled them to the public. Great use of their old stock and a great find for one of us today. This is a beauty that I will not be able to afford  ...Doug

Regardless of where they came from, I do not think WE painted partially assembled phones. I think they were completely disassembled, stripped, and cleaned, repainted, and then final assembly.

I am morally opposed to this game, yet I will participate again.

$337.13

I used to have 1 of these in this condition. A nice collector piece, Worth 200+ to me If I was chasing them.
