was to 208 ever able to be wired for a 1A1 system? or just the 1A....

Neither 1A nor 1A1 had been invented yet! And these phones (205, 208, 462, 466, 566) have a common talk path (tip and ring), totally different from later key systems.

208 was used with 15A Key System (2 lines) (1 line + intercom) and 23A Key System
(3 lines) ) (2 lines + intercom)

And, the winner of Auction Contest 224 is Fabius, who with the 9th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $725.00. Seems he didn't have much luck in losing the last Find of the Month poll but had no problem with winning this contest. That guess gave him his 8th win in our auction contests. So, once again, congratulations go out to Fabius the win and moving up a rung in the Contest Standings.

This phone started at $9.99 and jumped up to $213 within the first day of being listed. It sat there until about an hour to go when it jumped to $360. Stayed there until the last 10 seconds when two snipes within the last 12 seconds increased the price but neither snipe passed the high bid placed by the winner about 40 minutes before the auction ended. That high bid was the second bid placed by g***c ( 1359 ) who ended up taking the phone home for $718.88. The phone attracted 7 bidders offering 14 bids. I'm sure the seller is quite pleased.

Thanks again to all who played. As always, there is only one way to get on the winner's board or move up a rung - you have to play to win.
