WE 6000F dial mounting

I picked up a dial mount that goes to a switchboard and discovered that it mounts vertically. What switchboard would this have gone to? I have a copy of the BSP on this stuff, but it just shows the basics, not alot of detail. does anyone know more about this then I do? I thought these units were suppose to mount on the desktop of the switchboard, not the panel itself.  John
