What do the tabs in the hole for the upper housing lock look like, and what is their position in the hole?

I know the outer portion of the lock rests on them, but I'm not sure what they should look like BEFORE the lock goes in...

I'm not anticipating any difficulties, but I would appreciate a picture showing the tabs.
