Title: Mini Network Sources
Post by: Dave on March 09, 2018, 09:38:31 PM
Is the Styleline phone the only source for a mini network? What about the WE Trimline? Or any other phone with such guts? I need to know what to start looking out for when I'm scrounging.

to update/answer an old topic

I recently used the network fron an ITT trimline equivalent (trendline?). It was about the same size as the  AE Styleline. I had to clip off the integrated hookswitch (reset) contacts and jumper across them .

Two white leads for receiver (in series with hookswitch break first & make last , red and black leads for mic, red and black leads for dial pulse contacts ( which goes in series with hookswitch break last & make first).Your dial pulse contacts will depend o whether your other dial contacts close when dialing or open when dialing. Mine had a yellow wire that was origially taped and stored which I clipped off.
