584A Surprise

Jan and I were in a Big Multi Vendor Antique store yesterday that we always go into every time we are in Maine, Jan picked up a small little WE subset that was marked $25. No chips cracks of missing pieces, bit covered with paint and life from 85 years. Good deal.

I opened it up today got a shock, no gongs heave curled wires. I remember one selling recently for a  good chunk of change on eBay a few months ago. I have never seen one. Makes a really great sound,

Does anyone remember seeing an auction with one of these in the past few months?....thanks....Doug

Both of these are dated 230 and yours is dated 330 (3rd quarter).

My collector friend Gérald told me that the cathedral gongs were the same as the 25-cent gongs in pay phones.
