And just like that they're gone!
I saw that. I would certainly like to see them in person. In the photos it looks like the colors are flat where they meet another colors. Suspicions that the chips are only along the edges with the rest of the sign mint? An original of this sign is an early scarce sign that would easily sell for more then the asking price.
If anyone on the forum got one please let us know what you think.
I'll post pics when mine gets here. I paid $245 shipped, I figure it was worth the risk.

Somehow this got past me . I would have been very tempted to buy as the asking price is about 75% retail although I would have wanted to have gotten my usual questions answered about porcelain ledging. Greg did yours have the expected thick porcelain ledging ? Please show a photo of your
makers mark.

Mine is not too shabby:
The front side has a rust spot in the top left corner and another along the edge around "3 o'clock", and a small chip on the bottom right hand corner. The rest of the "damage" wiped away with a wet paper towel.
So it sounds like the one you got is original? Oh well, sometimes I guess wrong.
