Does anyone know if these old Stromberg Carlson receivers come apart? I would like to send the ring off to be re-plated, but I'm afraid to go any farther with the disassembly until I know more. The ring seems to be pressed on to the magnet, but if anyone has taken it down more than this, let me know.
