Title: Anyone installed a Rotatone on an AE35
Post by: djacobs on June 26, 2017, 12:32:11 AM
I have an AE35 that just gives me a buzz when I connect it.  It does ring when dialed.  I am not sure if my phone company supports a dial phone anymore, so am trying to install a Rotatone.  I have found the schematics for the AE35, but have only found installation instructions for an AE40...similar but not the same.  It looks like there are some major differences in the wiring between the AE35 and AE50, so am wondering if anyone has done this before and if they have a schematic of how to wire up.

I have attached a schematic for the AE34 which is the same as the AE35 hoping for some help.

Regards,
Dave

I have an AE40 that i was going to install a Rotatone in.  I ordered the unit and got the diagram. and it was different in so many ways from how my functioning phone was wired, I sent it back and got a dialgizmo.  It has it's drawbacks, but will dial all numbers. and will do so for each phone I connect through it.

The device being discussed is a aftermarket pulse dial to tone signaling module.
