I remember when those were the exquisite finishing touch to a communications set up.  Now without the boatanchors they worked with they are just orphan jimcracks.

We have a D104 in service on a VHF aviation band base station where I work. We use it everyday. Seeing them lamped hurts almost as much as with a nice phone.
