They are out there, and assembled they look like this . . .

Given that, I don't understand why someone would want to sell one of these in pieces and of questionable condition when New in Box isn't that much more? The box says the eyes and mouth move in sync with the caller's words. Anyone ever see one of these in operation?

I can imagine that someone took Rex apart and then couldn't figure out how to reassemble him.  It's quite the challenge.
