Hi,

Recently, I've started to get into social dancing. I go lindy hopping about twice a week and love it! Its such a blast. I've noticed that many of the dancers are using special dance shoes with suede soles. It apparently is the perfect amount of slip/grip. I am planning to glue the leather to the bottom of a pair of shoes. Does anybody know any good glue to do this? I have some Woodwork contact cement, but is there some special shoe paste I should be using?

A good contact rubber cement should work. I expect the trick to smooth sailing is to make sure the suede is tight across the sole.
