For reference: this style of mini-network is from AE styleline telephones. This is AE's version of a trimline. wiring diagrams are available.
As a side note, That AE set is a pretty pink color.

Jim...that’s what I thought but it had been touched up numerous places with pink....wait for it.....nail polish

Totally destroyed it. Couldn’t tell from the pics.

Apol, just spotted this is the for sale section - but following on re the pink shell - did you try a Chemical Sand? That would most likely have rescued it and brought the original colour back up nicely.
