Does anyone know if a type 81 receiver element is more sensitive than a type 41? Is a type 41 a better match for an induction coil rather than a network?

rdelius

Not all type 41 rec capsules are the same. Some were made for WW2 radio equipment and are a high inpedance to work with with a tube output. These will be week. The tyye 81 capsules will not get dirt iinside because of the plastic   film

James

Ok. I thought maybe they were like the western electric ones in that one was made to be used with an induction coil and the other was for a network.
