Just listed on eBay is this 10 button hardwired pink Princess from 6-65. It looks to be in fine condition (seller claims NOS), comes with the original instruction book and what appears to be the original box for that phone. It's a 5 day listing starting at $65.00 plus $12.50 shipping. We've seen what 10 button 1500s go for so how about taking a guess on a 1702B Princess?

With just under 5 days to go in this no reserve listing, the big question is how will this phone price out compared to the 1500s? So once again, the question is, who best knows the selling price of this item, or in other words, game on.

The seller listed it as an "Western Electric Pink Princess Touch Tone Phone Model 1702B 6-65" with the item condition as "Used" and "- - - " with the auction listing description as a "Bell System Western Electric pink Princess telephone. Listed as used, but really NOS. I don't believe it was ever hooked up or used. Comes with original manual and box. Model 1702B  6-65. Has softer/louder ring switch on bottom. On the back, switch controls the dial light level and usage. Phone is in beautiful, almost like new, original condition. Some very minor stain on cord probably from being in its box for so many years. "

NOTE: wE will use a 5% gap rule between guesses to prevent crowding. As such, guess gaps of 10+% can be split. I'll help with these as the auction goes forward and guesses are entered. It's another chance to either move up a rung or to get onto the CRPF -> Contest Standings <- list.

. . . for as twocvbloke said,    - - - >  "You gotta be in it to win it ! ! !". . .   ;D "

New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

What a beautiful phone! It does appear to be NOS. I am going to go high on this one, I think one of the deep pocket phone guys is going to want it for his collection.

And the winner of Auction Contest #126 is Fabius, who with the third entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $210.00. That guess gave him his first ever auction contest win. Overall, it was a slow auction taking days for the bids to get going and then increasing in small margins each day to $119.27 until the end of the auction and sold for $204.07 with last second snipes and won by h***m ( 842 ) with his only bid of the auction . Once again, our congratulations go out to Fabius for his very first win in the CRPF Auction Contests, getting him on the board in the Contest Standings.

Check out the updated Contest Standings to see who's who through 126 contests and the latest additions to the CRPF Hall of Fame

Thanks again to all who played. As always, there is only one way to get on the winner's board or move up a rung - you have to play to win.
