We called the single unit at the bottom of teleplay's post an "Amp Adapter". They are usually going to have male amphenol plugs on them as they were normally used to plug onto the end of a 25 pair cable tha tused to feed an old Key System phone that was being replaced with an electronic key system phone that had an RJ plug on it.

If these are available with a female amphenol rather than a male amphenol they would be perfect to connect to an old key system phones cord so an RJ connector can be connected to feed line 1 into the key system phone.

That single modular adapter seems to be available in only male ADP but to either a 2 pair, 3 pair or 4 pair modular socket.

With no female version available, there is always this fix, on the same link, for only $12. Lot of stuff on that page.

I also recall "Bridging Adapters". A litle box with 1 male Amphenol and either 2 or 4 Female Amphenols in it. One was Male so you could plug the female Amp'd feed cable onto it and then plug either 2 or 4 Key Phones onto the 2 or 4 Female Amps inside the box. One of these units would allow you to plug a single an Amp Adapter onto it and another key set or up to 3 key sets for the larger Bridging Adapter.

While only 1 pair is needed, the 3 pair Amp Adapters would be ideal in that each line on one of these key sets is comprised of a 3 pair circuit if it is being used along with a 1A1 or 1A2 system. Tip, Ring, A, A1, Lamp Groud, Lamp.
